1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing OurBase ('Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

2. Description of Service

OurBase is a relationship intelligence platform that analyzes behavioral patterns in your relationships through:

Message analysis (if you choose to import)
Journal entries
Life event tracking
Pattern recognition across relationships

3. User Accounts

Account Creation:

You must provide a valid email address
You are responsible for maintaining account security
You must not share your account credentials

Account Termination:

You may delete your account at any time
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Upon termination, all data is deleted within 24 hours

4. User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Upload content that violates others' privacy (e.g., messages without consent)
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the Service
Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm others
Impersonate another person
Upload malicious code or viruses

You are responsible for:

The content you upload (messages, journal entries, events)
Obtaining consent before uploading messages from others
Keeping your account secure

5. Content Ownership

Your Content:

You retain ownership of all content you upload
You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service
This license ends when you delete your account

Our Content:

The Service design, features, and AI analysis belong to OurBase
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our technology

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Key Privacy Points:

Your data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany (EU)
We automatically anonymize data before AI analysis
You can delete your account and all data anytime
We never sell your data

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
That the insights provided are 100% accurate
That the Service will solve your relationship problems

This Service is NOT:

A replacement for professional therapy
Medical or mental health advice
A diagnostic tool for mental health conditions

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or crisis helpline immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

OurBase shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any).

9. Pricing & Payments

Free Tier:

Core features remain free forever
No credit card required

Premium Tier (€29/month):

Optional premium features
Billed monthly via Stripe
Cancel anytime (no refunds for partial months)

Price Changes:

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are grandfathered at current price for 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in abusive behavior
Required by law

You may terminate by:

Deleting your account in Settings
Emailing privacy@ourbase.app

Effect of Termination:

All data deleted within 24 hours
Premium subscriptions canceled immediately
No refunds for unused subscription time
